Terraces In Green

Located on a sloped site, the house features an entry garden that addresses a significant elevation change between the street and the main building. The design takes advantage of the topography by creating a terraced garden that guides visitors from the higher street level down to a series of sunken patios in front of the residence. A wood screening fence and a row of hedge trees provide privacy at the entry while maintaining visual transparency from the street. The integrated steps are seamlessly woven into the garden terraces, offering an immersive experience as one descends through layers of plantings.

A Landscape for play...

This project is not a designated playground, but a thoughtfully crafted landscape that invites children to explore, imagine, and connect with nature through play.

From the main entry below, the view reveals a lush, green terrace garden composed of Japanese maple trees, ornamental grasses, and a variety of textured shrubs—offering a rich and tranquil welcome to the home.
